Conformance status

This website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, and EN 301 549. It is currently partially conformant: most content is accessible, the exceptions are listed below.

What we have done

Semantic page structure with headings and landmarks, labelled form fields, keyboard operation with visible focus, sufficient colour contrast, scalable text, no time limits, and support for reduced-motion settings.

Known limitations

• Content written by members (case descriptions, articles, treatments) may lack structure or alternative texts.
• Automatically translated content (DeepL) may contain linguistic inaccuracies.
• Some administration pages are only partially optimised for screen readers.

The market surveillance authority for the Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) is the Marktüberwachungsstelle der Länder für die Barrierefreiheit von Produkten und Dienstleistungen (MLBF), Magdeburg.
